When Rush Limbaugh made headlines for his careless use of words to describe a Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, actress Patricia Heaton was one of the few who expressed support for the radio host. But now he's following in the footsteps of Limbaugh and apologize for his Twitter comments Fluke as well.
The former "Everybody Loves Raymond" actress has removed the offensive tweets to his official Twitter account, and issued an apology to a variety of Fluke and his followers.
"Mea culpa Sandra Fluke! Is not respectful 2 u again in my tweets as I hope people WD bw / me. Do not like you have Dissed, so sorry," Heaton tweeted on Saturday.
54-year-old actress also discussed some of the comments directed at him on Twitter. He said Twitter user Arwen Taylor, who has sent the Martin Luther King, Jr. Heaton search "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious typeryys.-Martin Luther King, Jr."
Heaton replied, writes: "This is a good deal - I do not feel it applies to me!"
Los Angeles Times reported that after sending negative comments Fluke, Heaton temporarily removed from his Twitter account.
While the comments have been deleted, Times posted tweets, which caused a stir:
"Hey G-Town Gal: Plz, we also pay for Starbucks, movie theaters and favorite Hot Wings KFC combo deal! Anything else?"
"Hey G-Town Gal: If the parents have to pay for their own birth control, maybe they should get a say in who you sleep! Instant birth control!"
"If every Tweaton sent to Georgetown Gal a condom, her parents do not have to cancel basic cable, and he never reproduced - sounds good?"
