Recap: Dallas vs. San Jose

Logan Couture scored the game winning goal late in the second period and the San Jose Sharks skated past the Dallas Stars, 5-2, American Airlines Center.

Daniel WinNT, T.J. Galiardi, Joe Thornton and Ryan Clow obtained the Sharks, who swept home from home and, after the Stars won at home on Saturday. Antti Niemi posted 29 saves in the victory.

The shark remained in eighth place in the Western Conference, one point behind Phoenix, which is off in Columbus Tuesday night.

Brenden Morrow and Alex Goligoski scored the Stars, whose playoff hopes, life support now. They are currently two points behind Phoenix for the eighth spot with two games remaining. Kari Lehtonen was nominated for four goals on 25 shots.
