• Braden Holtby made 31 saves to lead the capitals in a 2-1 overtime victory in 7th game their series against the bruins. Holtby is the seventh rookie Tender goal to send the overtime win in game 7 of playing series and the first since the Sabres' on Steve Shields was against Ottawa in 1997. Two Hall of Famers are among six other rookie netminders with OT win in game 7: Frank Brimsek (1939) and Patrick Roy (1986).
